boutique research comp or working for the big guys(Nielsen, etc)
i have been offered a job as one.. still undecided if i should leave the banking (zzzzz) industry..
cheers! Independant research firm. Somewhere up there with Nielsen i'd say. Pay wouldn't be as competitive as banking sector though, Perks would be job satisfaction mainly because of my passion. Not a bad industry to be in I'd say, in overall this industry will always thrive, pretty standard. Banking is doing good, you should stay in it, for future prospects.

Though I may be a specialized gynecologist, my practice is not limited to gynecology per se. I treat infants, young children and adults as well. I work in a humble clinic, west of Singapore. Being rather green horn, my pay may not be as 'bombastic' as some of my peers, however I do enjoy my job. One of the many things I love about my job that makes up for the perks, is being able to see my patients well and happy again. The second, would be, of course the prestige and recognition, though I do not regard it very highly, it is indeed a pleasant thing to have.
