Do girls like to match-make for people?

Do girls like to match-make for people? Recently, two colleagues whom I fancy wanted to introduce their female friends to me when I told them that I am still single. When one of them asked me what type of girls I like, I felt like saying "I want someone like you!" but I couldn't say so because her bf was around. Do girls do that out of goodwill or it's something fun and interesting?

They do it for fun and stuff. If your colleague's boyfriend treat her like sh*t.. strike while the iron is hot.

its just a way for girls to help their guy friends or girlfriends.

for me, if i know a guy is suitable for a girl, i will try to matchmake them but most of the time i'm just kidding..

It seems like all the girls I am interested in wanted to match-make me. It happened to me twice already. Girl A told me to send her my photo so that she could look out for me and Girl B suggested I should woo another colleague because she thinks that colleague is a nice girl.

Its a nice way of letting you down gently - a way to tell you that she is not interested in you. Ouch! The truth hurts - but at least she offer you some alternatives.

I kinda agree with Fruity. They're trying to tell u in a less painful way that they're not interested. I hate to say this, but I've done the same thing before. I knew the guy was interested but I wasn't n so, I'd try all ways to bring a 3rd party into the conversation.

i think that match-making for me sometimes dun work.

prefer things to come slow and steady..

friend -> buddy -> bf

pros and cons.. may lose ur friend and fall pretty badly

i do things fast and furious... it's fren -> bf

i cant bear to get mushy with my buddies~

and i dun match-make pple~~

I kinda agree that if the girl wants to match-make me, then she's most likely not interested in me cos no girl will ever do that even to match-make their loved ones to their buddies.

But in my case, I am sure both Girl A and Girl B wasn't aware that I am interested in them cos I just got to know Girl A then and Girl B kept pestering me to find out who I was interested in (she wouldn't do that if she knew I fancy her).

Girl B has already left the company. I like to talk to Girl A and hang around with her during company events but I need to be tactical in order not to let her and everyone else suspect. Moreover, I know her bf who is also in the same company. The truth really hurts!
