Anyone want to go for a kelong outing.
things that we are able to do while we are there other then fishing.

Mahjong
Karaoke
Laze around on the kelong and enjoy the sea breeze

Cost $60 bucks per person (Include one Seafood dinner , Bbq supper and seafood porriage) (NOTE: NON-BUFFET STYLE) Free cold orange syrup, hot water, cold water & coffee with sugar or tea provide all the time.

Date 14 June 2008
Two days one night event. below is the link for more information about the kelong.
http://www.kelong.info/ (We must have at least 12 persons in order for this trip to be
successful as it is a condition from the kelong)

DO NOTE THAT YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 MTH VAILDTY FOR YOUR INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT, as we will need to take 1hr of bum boat from changi village to Pengarang (Malaysia custom) to chop passport then about another 20 mins to the kelong.

FISHING
for those who are fishing we will need to buy live prawns and seaworms from changi village therefore we will need to top up a bit more money. the cost we will need to see on that day how many persons going to fish.

Room that i stay for the night with fan provide so quite cooling.

well , i agree with beachbozs that Pengarang have alot of seafood to eat.So far, i been to Pengarang town,lots of seafood restaurant there.The reccomended dish is lobsters deep fried with flour and butter,price is about RM80(Singapore dollar:$40),really worth it.

dashi we just go there chop passport then we go to the kelong. we never go Pengagrang itself to walk walk no time for us. it just chop n go that all.

Prawns are also quite effective baits.. also can.. Smile

Juz get the cheap grey prawns at supermarkets, small quantity is enough..

sotong there no need to catch the kelong will bring up it net then what ever bait u want u will have it.

I would suggest if we have lots of ppl fishing we can share 1 kg of live prawn 1 small pack of dead prawn & 6 packs of ragworms.

Huh.. dun need so much live prawns la.. Expensive you know... 1kg is alot already.. somemore not everyone likes to use live baits, plus live baits are also specifically to be used for certain species of fish...
Ragworms, 2 packs is enough liao.. I always can never finish 1 pack myself even if I share it with my friend who also has 3 rods...

ragworm that day my friend bought 6 pack also not enough.
live prawn maybe 800 grams bah. any way on that day we see how many ppl fishing that we buy.

easy lah go changi village buy a hand line also can. cheap cheap 1 handline should not cost more then 6 bucks.

oh yesh, over at the kelong we are able to buy soft drink , beers & cigg for those smoker who need it and a note to
take beer n cigg got to finish at the kelong cannot bring over to sg.
