| Hi there Caren,
After consideration, I have decide to decline the offer by *alex *otion.
Kindly forward this mail to Alex as the statement below are for him.
Many thanks and best of luck. Valiant Lee
Dear Alex,
Thank you for your generous offers, however it is one of the worst offer I have ever heard.
It is not an offer for Sales Professional who only have time to consider how to make more sales. If *alex *otion can't afford the budget for the Sales Professional's outstation, I suggest that *alex *otion stop going on regional plans and stick to Singapore market instead.
If all expenses must be pay in advance and wait for the claims by the end of the month, you are creating problems to your Sales Professional on not having enough money to tight through the hard times and have to put aside a certain amount of money as capital to work. This is work, not own business, whichever revenue earned are 95-99% going to the company so why ask your worker to pay up capital?
Who is going to counter sales difficulties when they have more worries to take care of, caused by the employer? If this is suppose to be how an employer taking care of their employee. I will have to say your sales people are gonna have more problems and this certainly effects works and morale not to mention you will never keep or even attracts sales professional who can drive sales on flights.
For what I sees, your company doesn't seems to be here to stay. When money attracts more money, restricting budgets only kills your revenue. If spending $1 can make $2 or more and $10,000 makes $20,000, why are you still saving budget in sales?
I am sorry to say, Alex, you are one of the worst Sales Manager/ Regional In charge, I have ever met. Hope you can understand the goodwill of my feedback and adjust for the better.
Good luck and gong xi fa chai Valiant Lee

Dear Alex,
Thank you for your generous offers, however it is one of the worst offers I have ever heard received.
It This is not an offer for Sales Professional who only have with adequate time time to consider how to make various avenues on generating more sales. If *alex *otion can't cannot afford the budget for the Sales Professional's outstation, I suggest that *alex *otion

enough money to tight the adequate resources to see through the hard times and have to put set aside a certain amount of money as capital to commence work. This is work, not own business The current situation on hand is pertaining to a job, not one's business. Whichever
revenue earned are 95-99% I must point out that 95-99% of revenue earned will be returned to the company, so why
ask should your workers to be required to pay up a capital?
Who is going to counter sales difficulties when they have more worries to take care of, caused by the employer? Should there be any sales complications, who might be the respective person in charge responsible to counter these, especially when there are even more unsettling issues at hand caused by the employer? If this is suppose to be how an employer taking care of their employee. Should this be how an employer looks after his employees, I will have to must say your sales people team are gonna going to have face more problems, and this will certainly effects affects works dynamics and individual morale, not to mention excluding the fact that you will never keep retain or even attracts sales professionals who can drive sales on flights.

When money attractsgenerates more money, restricting budgets will only kills your revenue. I just couldn't help it! It was nauseatingly atrocious!! And seriously, it's a corporate norm to use your own money first when overseas, after which the company reimburse you of your total spending!

| so paying in advance and claiming after that is sai gang? den wad you want? company give you allowance, provided you dun make anymore claims ah? and budgetting is for the company to widen the gap btn revenue and expense.. means pple actually stretch the dollar.. budgetting is, and should be, done under reasonable and foreseeable circumstances and it is normally allowed for pple to spend a lil over the budget provided they give acceptable reasons.
in this case, budgetting is a gd form of restriction such that it instills discipline into the department on watching wad they spend. otherwise they will get into a deficit in no time..
all these are in my opinion

yes money can generate more cash. but it has its limits.. once it reaches the limit, throwing more money in will onli incur more losses.. wad i mention below may require some economic background from readers, but i HAVE to make my point.money is capital, which is a variable factor of production [an input that can be increased in suply within a given period of time]. as can be seen from the law of diminishing marginal returns, when increasing amounts of a variable facter are used with a given amount of a fixed factor [an input which cannot be increased in suply within a given period of time], there will come a point when each extra unit of the variable factor will produce less extra output than the previous unit. here's a clearer picture: take the case of a farm. assume the fixed factor is land and the variable factor is labour. since the land is fixed in supply, output per period of time can be increased only by increasing the amount of workers employed. but imagine what would happen as more and more workers crowded on to a fixed area of land. the land cannot go on yielding more and more ouput indefinitely. after a point the additions to output from each extra worker will begin to diminish. hence this will lead to the fact that costs actually start rising once you go beyond the maximum level of profit your money can generate. okae, if you dun understand wad i just said.. im just trying to say that if $1 can generate $2 or more, it doesnt necessarily mean throwing in $100,000 will generate $200,000 and above.

| LOL, your tone in the letter sounded so big as if u knew all, but alas, your letter is peppered with bad grammar errors and reflection of your bad knowledge towards corporate practices. I think even his secretary, Caren, probably wet herself laughing at you! Wait...you're sure it's Caren and not Karen right? | |

| Val.. poor effort..if not for furu's attempt to correct ur english, i wouldnt understand what u are saying.
I think ur letter must have backfired as Furu stated coz instead of paying attention to ur valid pts that u made, Alex would prob be laughing at ur atrocious (frankly!!!) english and grammer. he's prob put it up on his wall to give him some humor during those stressed times...
aniways gd luck on ur job hunt Val! and FFS use spell check/grammer check!
cheers! | |
