| We are almost done with the group stages... what will your best 11 be? Who do you think will go all the way? Now that the Italians survived the 'Group of Death', do you think they can go on and win it? Have your say here! (as long as you don't flame others!) | |

| Holland (Netherlands) rocks... they've been the most impressive so far... My heart is with Italy (way back to USA '94) but my mind says it's Netherlands.
I dun really think much of Portugal though...they dun seem to have enough quality, C.Ron seems to e the only class act. But it can be a fairytale ending for Scholari, who knows?
Hmm Croatia is also another dark horse, you think so?

| Haha, what did I tell you? Portugal got knocked out the moment they faced a seasoned campaigner...I dun really like the way Germans play... but they were efficient man...
I think tonight will be tough... Croatia is on form now with a good coach... Turkey has alot of fighting spirit... close game, but I think Croatia will make it. Maybe after extra time, but hopefully not, I still wanna sleep, hehe...

| hehe... too cheem to understand ah? well just understand that football is not 22 people chasing one ball... cos usually at any one time, there will only be one person on the ball, and at most 2 or 3 people chasing him down.
Football is not that complicated... so what sport is more interesting to you? basketball ah? I know most girls like basketball, dunno why also...

| and the other players waiting to pounce on the balls, i mean, ball? football isnt complicated, it's the lang!! and im not the basketball lover. not at all. the singlets, the hairy armpits, the baggy bottoms that threaten to drop after every jump, noooooooooo way. so far, no sport interests me besides kayaking/canoeing the freedom to decide which direction you wanna go and that you're gonna use your own efforts to make it to the final destination. priceless. | |

| Football complicated? Hmm ok la, maybe when we start talking about strategies and tactics lor...
That's quite a good description of the basketball game actually. I don't quite like that game too, but not for the reasons you mentioned. It's a game meant for tall people. In football, you need to be physically strong but it also applies to all sports...However, you don't need long hands or long legs like a chimpanzee, and there's no advantage if you are tall. There are many good players who are of average height. Those basketballers are freaks, 2.0m tall...yeeks!

| Oh yah... I used to do canoeing/kayaking too... I remember I did it during OBS, from Ubin to some island, Frog Island I think, then all the way to the Causeway, touched it and then all the way back...haha, super tiring but very fun... | |

| Today my heart sank, along with all the Italian dreams... To my noble opponents, please go all the way and if you meet the gross Germans, charge at them like Spanish bulls, make them into German sausages. | |

| Actually, I didn't think Holland would go very far...only reason being van der Saar. He's too inconsistent. Well, I'm hoping for Spain lor... then at least Italy can sat they lost to the eventual winners. I don't like Germans, they are boring. Spain vs Germany in the final. But hopefully Turkey can do something about it! | |

| Russia was outplayed yesterday (this morning)... hmm, just like Turkey lor, no fairytale ending...But they're a decent side la, Guus Hiddink the coach does wonders... Germany had it easy so far... I dun see Portugal or Croatia as genuine contenders lor... Look at the other side: Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy all in the same side of the draw...For Spain to come out of it all, they must beat Germany. That will be quite a fairytale too... | |
