saw afew boxes at seyiu shopping but its long time ago. always together with gundams model kits.
or try sunshine plaza, there have some model shop. best order online from japan la

i tried sunshine plaza, don have...
so maybe last choice is to go Japan find if there is spare time 4 me from my Japan trip...

its expensive but its parallel import for Japan...

Oh, I remember Patlabor was my very FIRST model kit! I was 9 then, and everyday I would construct it bit-by-bit.. I took a week to complete it, and was quite proud with my achievement, esp the the components that required putting together tiny little bits!

Yeah, it's VERY unique! Unlike other model kits, the patlabor has parts of it covered in fabric, and you need to rip the fabric open to see the mechanism which you previously have constructed!

I obviously haven't seen the anime enough to understand the model, but I have to ask, why are parts of the robots covered in fabric? Unique, yes, but operational wise, it doesn't serve much purpose. And cleaning & maintenance will be a major chore!
