Hmm..should make some money on Valentine's day by selling roses at $20 a stalk? hmm..? then use my marketing skill to pursuade the guys to buy for their girls..'aiyah, if u love ur gf that much, u should be willing to spend rite?' say it loud enough for the girls to hear then see the guys reaction..wahaha

Oh, I was there during valentine's day!! IT was so so so very sweet...Like a billion times sweeter than in singapore, u could REALLY feel the valentine's vibe!
In Japan, the girls do not buy chocs or what not for the guys, they actually make them to show their sincerity!
When I was there, I got a couple of gifts from 2 girls, it was so sweet! Mini heart shaped cup cakes which they made themselves. In the evening, we decided to take a walk around town, because of the cold, and the slippery floor, we huddled together while walking. We got hungry and stopped by Lucky Pier burger joint for hot coffee and burgers. It was drop dead romantic! There I was, sitting by the window sipping hot coffee with a gorgeous Japanese girl, looking into her eyes and watching the snow outside.
Though I never watched cheesy Japanese dramas, I felt I was in one! It was just so so MAGICAL! Something you'll never ever experience in Singapore!

Yeah, they take V-day very seriously there. I think Singapore sees v-day as a comercial movement, but in Japan, and prob elsewhere, they don't. Smile

Yeah, when V day is closing in, you'll see companys advertising on tv that their chocs can be melted, the advertorial even teaches u how to make ur own chocs cakes/cookies! Their marketing there is very amazing and effective, other food advertisement are tutorials at the same time as well!

Well, chocolates are made by processing the cocoa seeds and adding milk together with other ingredients, i.e sugar etc.
If u ever wanted raw chocolate.. Just pluck the cocoa, eat the fruit in it and chew the seeds!

VERY! It's also quite brittle and the pieces get stuck in your throat while going down. Very similar to chewing raw coffee beans.
