i heard b4 the old chinese saying of "替死鬼" in which the ghost has to find a "substitute" to take its place at the place of death (eg. canals, roads, rivers).. they use it to explain the frequency of deaths occuring at the area.. i wun say tat i believe it totally, but its better to gif it some "respect", cos there is tis block arnd my estate that had 4 suicides in the same block in the past 15yrs that i stayed here.. freaky, but better to believe than to regret later..

I think parents say this to scare their kids so they wont go too deep into the water???

last time when i was young, my mum would tell me that after 6pm there is a demon who steals wondering kids. That was so I dont go there n play after 6pm.

there are still people who swims at night... but nothing happened to them...

then again.. in the 7th lunar month, whether you believe it anot.. its best not to go swim...

I don't know about that, but i believe there's something "dirty" about some of the beaches in Singapore. And no, i'm not talking about floating shits and used condoms lying around..

haha.. actually "dirty" is jus a conception bah.. the more u believe the more it will affect u.. but of cos dun adopt a non-chalant attitude abt it and go blatantly insult those who believe it.. retributions r a real thing.. so, jus let it be, be glad to noe that u did no wrong to anybody and that ur conscience is clear, then nth can scare u.

well, toast, i stay hougang lor.. actually sengkang oso got a few "suicide" cases oso.. mostly is cos of stress frm studies.. poor things..

tink xiao guilin is even more eerie.used to go there often to enjoy the night breeze... used to have many people drown there in the past... now very lesser already

hmm, actually think i experienced that when i was younger..which is why i dun swim. was wading at East Coast Park with my cousins when all of a sudden, i felt something tugging my leg n next thing i knew, top part of my body was under the sea with my legs above the water. thing is while i was underwater, i distinctively noticed a figure with long hair. i was only spared coz my uncle reacted fast enough to pull me out. was underwater for abt 5 seconds i think. hmmm...

Actually the water ghosts story I was told by grandaunties and grandmother....and judging from the high frequency of deaths in the sea especially sentosa ( many unreported) I really believe that there is something there thou.. My religion is cannot believe such stuff..

by right i shldn't be believing such stuff too. but experienced too much aldy. dun believe also cannot. have quite a few more stories to share but fingers lazy to type too much. haha

when the sun sets actually.. malays believe that the ghosts would come out to play..

so we are sharing our lives with the third kind.....

yeah... heard that there is 5 dimension to this world... but all is on different timing... our human kind lives in the 3rd dimension. so those wandering spirits have came into contact with our dimension and therefore be in our dimension...this is usually the case where two dimension timing is exactly the same... and this theory is sometimes explained for the missing persons...

People go missing because of human trafficking or they just plain simple hate their homes or they must be dead to the world to join some secret organization by the government.

Dimensions..? Never happened but who knows.. there might be something just right at the end of a black hole.. but i doubt so as well, since the black hole crushes everything that gets too near.
