Would you continue with your relationship with your life partner if you know you are going to die in 2 years?

i would.

im a lil selfish i know, but it's definitely better than breaking two hearts.
and there wont be any regrets for both sides.

if my two yrs are up, at least i can tell myself "i didnt waste these 2 years of my life pining for him. i spent these 2 years loving him and letting him know how much i love him."

and he can tell himself "at least i have shown her that i love her and that i was the one who accompanied her till the end of her journey"

maybe after my death, he will despair.. but i believe that he will get over it and move on in life ;]

Hmm..that's a tough one. I guess that in that time, u'll need all the support u can get. Its one thing to be able to let someone go if u know u dont have much time to live but then again, we are generally selfish ppl n to say that we would let someone go may not be the actual thing we do.

But why such a question?

I'll tell her that I still love her but I do not want to break her heart. She must be happy when I'm gone and she must forget me and move on.

As for me.. I will spend my last 2 years travelling and writing... yes and hopefully have a book published....

I will have to explain the news of my upcoming death to my loved one.. not easy but have to do it...

Well, if it's gonna be the most beautiful 2 years of your life, why not? For me, I live in the moment, so I wouldn't mind being with my partner even if it means just 5 seconds more. I would rather 5 seconds, or 2 years for that matter, than not at all.

Even if i had to be a tear of that person, I would.
